Wrote and designed them for Colton's Restaurant Group, Inc. to be used to train the next P&L Program Administrator.
Article Series: "Skills and Qualities a Technical Writer Needs

Researched and wrote articles based on a survey of articles and job descriptions to identify the skills and qualities most desired by employers of technical writers. Won award for Best Essay in Research or Theoretical Writing in 2016.
Online Help System 2015
Acted as Project Manager of a team to create an online help system as well served as a writer and editor.
Job Position Manuals 2015
Edited and designed a series of eight manuals for Colton's Restaurant Group.
Indexes 2015
Created an index for a class project as well as one for a 175-page book titled What to Charge by Laurie Lewis.
Instructional Blog Articles 2014
Wrote two articles describing how to create navigational "breadcrumbs" for a website and how to use Google Fonts; also served as co-editor of the class blog.

• Edited and proofread employee job position manuals, training materials, and franchising brochures.
• Collaborated with marketing director to create menus, table cards, passes, gift cards, print ads, banners, billboards, and other marketing materials using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Developed and maintained CRG's original internal website using Dreamweaver.
Executive Assistant 1995-1997
• Edited and proofread letters, memos, and other documents.
• Wrote and designed the company newsletter, as well as the first Colton's menu, comment cards, and print ads using Microsoft Publisher.
• Designed a Microsoft Access database to track periodic and quarterly sales, costs, and product mixes for multiple Colton's locations.
